One thing we love about the mountains is how quickly the weather can change. The same thing happens in life–things can change in an instant and that’s why documenting couples is such a passion of ours. This session was special. We trekked up Rough Ridge in Blowing Rock for the wonderful woodland and mountain views. Holeigh was an absolute trooper in trusting us up the muddy mountainside in her white dress…but one must admit that the views were worth it! If you can believe it…Noah was barefoot most of the way! These two love the outdoors and camp/hike often and this location was the perfect backdrop for their session.
We hope you love this session as much as we do! The majority of the session was overcast and foggy…but we got glimpses of sunlight in the end for more variety! A special thanks to Lindsey Regan Thorne of BE PRETTY for the great job on Holeigh’s hair & make up. Truly…it lasted the entire hike as you can witness from the pictures at the end of our session.
We made it to the top to get some images with the gorgeous mountains as our backdrop. The fog and overcast light made for such a gorgeous and moody shoot.
The sun broke through for a brief moment…and we started clicking!
